I have loved art since early childhood. I have taken art classes whenever I could in my early years and throughout the eighties. I painted from time to time while working and raising a family. I retired from work in 2007 and my passion for oil painting is just as strong today as it was when I first started.
My inspiration and passion come from my feelings of good and evil, love of life, life experiences, values and meanings, wisdom, and biblical beliefs.
I've developed a technique that gives me freedom to express myself in my subjects and in my chosen colors. Painting on large size canvas provides venue to express the meaning of my subject, colors and my message.
In my work, I am sending a message. I can't explain the feeling I have when I start creating and putting my work together. I do know it feels really good. It's like taking my inspiration into an adventure in colors and findings ways to create a perfect composition and enjoying every minute until it's finished. Stepping back to see my work and finding satisfaction ---- it's awesome!
