I have always been compelled to sketch abstract images that reveal thoughts and feelings often unspoken. Art is an ongoing exploration that forces me to step outside of my comfort zone into the unknown. The process of creating allows me to become centered and focused.
As a mixed media artist I experiment with a variety of materials to create fragmented work that goes beyond imagined or real barriers expressing ideas that need more than mere words. Often the final result is substantially different from what I originally envisioned—not an accident but rather an unveiling of my inner emotional and visual world.
