Growing up in the mountains of Northern California, I spent lots of time outdoors in the fresh air experiencing the four seasons. When I was a little girl, I sat at the river’s edge and played as my Mom painted. Her creativity and invitation made a deep impression. Working primarily in watercolor, my pieces often reflect some aspect of nature. I am drawn to the many forms of light I see and enjoy watercolor as it lends itself to expressing light in interesting ways.
