Briana Learnihan
Being a self-taught mixed media artist, working with collage, color and texture is everything to my art. My collages are much like my life, vibrant colorful bits, and pieces of patchwork fragments woven together, intertwined, and evolving into my present.
Collage is always interesting and never boring, continually lending itself to an extensive exploration of what has been, what could be, and beyond. Art, especially collage, brings to me a great sense of serenity, calmness, and freedom with no set formulas, and no constraints.
Art is created to share, to make people feel comfortably drawn to it, my goal is to show others how to enjoy their own creativity and give a voice to their artwork no matter what the medium.
